Sakkara riders Mouda Zeyada and Maysam Bisharat made the most of the 2019-2010 UAE international showjumping circuit, delivering consistent and exceptional performances across 2, 3, 4 and 5* competitions. Highlights for Maysam Bisharat include a 5th place finish in the 4* Al Shira’aa Grand Prix, as well as 3rd in the 5* President of the UAE Cup. Mouda finished top of the podium in the Mini Grand Prix of Al Shira’aa and the accompanying puissance class. He then put in back to back first place wins in Sharjah and topped off his UAE tour with a win in the 5* President of the UAE Cup and a 2nd place finish with the Egyptian team in the Nations Cup.
Both Mouda and Maysam qualified for the Longines FEI World Cup Final in Las Vegas, which was unfortunately cancelled due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
The collective talents of Mouda Zeyada, Mohamed Talaat, Abdel Said and Mohamed Osama El Boraie drove the Egyptian national team to a podium finish in the UAE Nations Cup on February 29th. Against the likes of New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Germany and host nation, the UAE, Team Egypt overcame an early disadvantage with a first round elimination to secure its place at the Nations Cup in Barcelona later this year. New Zealand won the Nations Cup for the second time, while hosts UAE finished in third.
The concerted efforts of Mohamed Taher Zeyada, Abdel Said, Nayel Nassar and Sameh El Dahan landed the Egyptian showjumping team on the winners podium at the CSIO 4* Nations Cup in Rabat.
